It's Show Time!

Surgery tomorrow. Holy crap. Procedure is scheduled for 7:30 am and I have to report to the hospital at 5:30 am. Sleeping is not in the near future for me. I mean, Wow! That's all I can say about it. Tomorrow my life will change forever. How do I feel about it? I don't know. I don't really "feel" anything. I more feel proud of surviving the two week pre-op diet. The last 3-4 days were really hard. The only cheats I did were two lattes at Wesley Andrews Coffee. Bot times it was a 6oz latte with 2% milk and no sugar. So, basically, the cheat was the caffeine. It would have been better with sugar, but it was still a nice treat. I think if I used cold-press, I could transition to milk - no sugar in my coffee. I will always really like cream more,...but this could work. We'll see.

So, the list of things I wanted to get finished before surgery...finish the course work for my summer class, finish painting the house, and clean the house. The house is tidy, but not clean, and that will have to do. The house is still at 70% painted. Basically, all the hard stuff (peaks and high parts) are done. All that is left on the back of the house are the parts I can reach without a ladder. My course work is in no such a good place. I'm 90% done with week 5 material. I started week 6. Weeks 7 & 8...Nope.

I had a totally awful dream, yet funny dream because it's so the way I process stress and is totally relevant to what's happening right now. I dreamt that I had eaten a hot dog, and I was freaking out because I wasn't sure my body would pass it before surgery. I was frantically looking for Miralax to try to expell it from my body, even if I had to drink a gallon of it. I didn't want to do the 2 week pre-op diet again. It's funny - not funny - funny.
