Having A Complete Break Down

I got a call from the nurse to check up on me. I'm pretty sure I hit my breaking point. I was in so much pain, but like not the kind where you would take a narcotic. More like when you would use ibuprofen, but bariatric patients can't have NSAIDs ever again.
It was a really crampy pain both from my tummy and my guts. And, as if I really needed the bonus, also in my uterus. That's right, for the first time in 10 months, I got a "real" period. I am so pissed, too. I got the damn IUD because it was supposed to significantly reduce the pain and flow, possibly even stop it all together.
The nurse laughed and cried with me. She told me to drink milk of magnesia. That stuff is fucking GROSS! But, it also works! Later that day, everything was moving! I'll spare the gory details. But she was right, I was also constipated, another side effect of all the meds I am on.
I also decided I needed to be done with the clear liquid diet before my meeting with my surgeon. The program details say clear liquid diet for 7 days after surgery; however, they also said I should wait until after I meet with my surgeon before moving on to full liquids. Well, my surgeon can't see me until day 12. That's FIVE extra days of fucking chicken broth, sugar free jello, and sugar free popsicles. No way. I just mentally do 5 more days of it. So, I added a couple of options on my own. Creamed soup (strained) is now on the table. Also, tomato soup is happening tonight. Siggis yogurt is still debatable, that's pretty thick.
I bit the bullet and ordered the Isopure RTD. They are crazy expensive at about $4 a bottle, but they have 40 grams of protein per bottle and I just can't do any more protein shakes. I drank the orange-pineapple-banana yesterday and it was really pretty good.
I"m struggling with figuring out when I should eat and how much I should eat. According to the nurse, I should do three 4oz protein shakes each day at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. After that, I can drink whatever whenever....as long as it's a clear liquid.
